This baby is such a sweetheart! I
must admit to initially being surprised
by the soft chestnut coat on this colt, but
his gentle ways won me over very quickly. He
has the disposition of a lamb - so easy
going and affectionate. Absolutely
loves attention and for him nothing beats a
good scratch on the neck. He's a quick study
- he's figured out very quickly that good
things can come from places other than his
mom! Makes a beeline for me every time I
enter the stall now. Unless of course he is
lying down, in which case he prepares for a
good belly rub! This handsome colt was
imprinted and there is no spot on him which
cannot be easily touched. |

His conformation is quite nice.
High-headed, with nicely hooked ears, he has
a short back, nice curves to his hind legs
and a thickly built body like his sire. Note
how the swirl on his face is so very low -
this location is known to indicate a placid
disposition, which he definitely has! Of
course, this is no surprise - I don't know
how he could have anything else with his
sire and dam's easy going ways.
As a gelding he will be a one of a kind
companion. I sense he will bond closely with
his human, and he certainly shows much
promise to develop into a beautiful,
dependable and trustworthy mount. He has
been gaiting since shortly after birth and
shows a nice stride and nod. How could
anyone not love that! |
