My Apache Maid and Tennessees Golden Boy
outdid themselves with the production of
this fine foal, Tennessees Apache Gold.
"Cody" has the pedigree, gait, disposition,
and color to take him anywhere. In
addition, he has tremendous size, and will
mature well over 16 hands. Like all of
Dixie's foals, he is extremely athletic and
canters well including performing flying
lead changes at liberty. We like lots of
natural athleticism in our horses as it
further opens options for their futures as
jumpers, cow horses, speed events, etc. Cody
has it all. This breeding produced not just
what we hoped for, but went so far as to
exceed that. Update: Cody has
been sold
to Chris Goeggan of Ohio, and will
now begin an exciting field trial career.
We wish Cody, Chris, and Kari all the best
with that! Cody (Tennessees Apache
Gold) won a NATIONAL field trial
CHAMPIONSHIP for his owner. He also grew to
17 hands, and the three girls who have
ridden him (including the one who owns and
shows him now) just absolutely RAVE about
his gait and canter and disposition. |
